Location Display

The location display shows the co-ordinates of your present position.

Location display examples

Geographic co-ordinates UTM co-ordinates

Press the (4) and (6) buttons to switch between geographic and UTM

coordinates.

Geographic Co-ordinates

These coordinates show your current position in degrees of latitude

and longitude. The values display in Degrees, Minutes and Seconds.

Longitude is expressed Eastern (E) or Western (W) from Greenwich

meridian. Latitude is expressed in degrees North (N) and South (S)

of the Equator. This makes it possible to uniquely identify any

position on the Globe.

The units of measure displayed depend on the units of

measure selected on the Main Menu (see page 31 –

Set Units).
